Elton John – January 11 & 12, 2020

Elton John will perform in the Hunter Valley in 2020 in what is billed as his most extensive tour of Australia and New Zealand in almost 50 years of touring here.

The three-year global Farewell Yellow Brick Road is expected to be the curtain call for the legendary performer in Australia, and from touring. Elton John’s amazing career has included 196 concerts in Australia to 1.5 million fans. During that time he has visited the Hunter for several performances, including a 2007 vineyard show and a Hope Estate performance in 2015.

Featuring images and videos from throughout his five decades performing, the show is expected to offer a rare and intimate glimpse into the performer’s life.

Cold Chisel – January 18, 2020

For the first time ever, Cold Chisel will be playing at this special Hunter Valley outdoor show during summer alongside Birds of Tokyo & Busby Marou. Between New Year’s Eve and the second weekend of February, they’ll do gigs on the beach, gigs by the river and gigs in the bush. You’ve never seen anything like it before. You’ll never see anything like it again.

Hunters & Collectors – February 15, 2020

THE Red Hot Summer Tour is returning to heat up the Hunter Valley in February, headlined by Australian rock royalty Hunters & Collectors.

The star-studded lineup will also feature Australian Crawl legend James Reyne, rockabillies The Living End and pub rock icons The Angels.

The 10th edition of the Red Hot Summer Tour will be completed by hard-rockers Baby Animals, early 2000s hit-makers Killing Heidi and pop rock legends Boom Crash Opera.The Red Hot Summer Tour 2020 will visit Roche Estate, at Pokolbin on February 15.

It will be Hunters & Collectors first tour since 2014’s A Day on the Green, where they visited Bimbadgen. Prior to that show they had not toured since 1998.

A-ha, Rick Astley, Pseudo Echo – February 29, 2020

A-Ha perform live at A Day on The Green Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley on Saturday February 29. They’ll be joined by very special guest Rick Astley.

The Norwegian trio, who dominated pop charts worldwide during the ’80s, are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their hugely influential debut album Hunting High And Low and will be performing the classic album in full as well as other favourites from across their career. Selling more than 11 million copies worldwide, it includes the unforgettable Take On Me, which reached number one on the Australian charts, as well as follow-up hits The Sun Always Shines On TV, Train Of Thought and the title track.

Wine Machine – March 14, 2020

Announcing the Best. Chardy. Ever. Wine Machine is returning in 2020 to the Hunter Valley with our biggest year yet! Saturday 14 March 2020 at Roche Estate.

The massive and proudly all-Australian wineup for the 2020 national tour has been announced and showcases some of the biggest names in electronic music along with the next crop of incredible Australian talent on offer.

Rod Stewart – October 24, 2020

With more than 250 million records sold worldwide, the legendary singer-songwriter Sir Rod Stewart will be performing live in concert in the Hunter Valley at Roche Estate on Saturday 24 October 2020.

Jazz in the Vines (Kate Cebrano) – October 30, 2020

Jazz is back in the Hunter Valley! Hope Estate is proud to announce the return of Jazz in the Vineyards on Saturday 30th October 30, 2020, with Kate Ceberano and band, John Morrison’s Swing City Band featuring Jacki Cooper, The Aston Martinis and The Djangologists. A great day out for groups of friends, ladies who lunch, and families, to come along to the Hunter Valley’s biggest beer garden at Hope Estate. Set on the rolling lawns of Hope Estate’s amphitheatre, enjoy a slow lunch, estate grown wine, fresh craft beer, markets & kids zone, all to the lively big band jazz tunes and classic hits.

A Day on the Green (James Blunt & Jason Mraz) – November 21, 2020

Roundhouse Entertainment in conjunction with Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce the return of multi-Platinum British singer and songwriter JAMES BLUNT, who makes his highly anticipated return to Australia in November 2020, performing at a day on the green at Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley on Saturday November 21, 2020.

Joining JAMES BLUNT at all his Australian shows will be special guest and old friend, Grammy award-winning pop craftsman JASON MRAZ, who returns to Australia for the first time in six years. The pair have been occasional touring partners over the years, sharing stages in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland since 2005.

Simple Minds – December 5, 2020

Iconic Scottish band SIMPLE MINDS will be returning to Australia and New Zealand in Nov/Dec 2020 for their 40 Years of Hits Tour 2020, performing at a day on the green wineries as well as indoor shows. They will be joined by very special guests, UK electronic pioneers ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE DARK, their first Australian tour since 1987. The a day on the green concerts will also feature Aussie chart-toppers EUROGLIDERS.
