De Capel Wines is a boutique, family-run vineyard producing Hunter Valley classic varieties – Semillon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Rose’.

Originally hand planted in 2008 by the Capels and friends, we hand pick every bunch of grapes ensuring the best possible quality and integrity of fruit. Our property was once a dairy farm and we have restored and renovated the original little dairy building to become a unique and interesting cellar door. We believe in making your wine tasting experience with us a truly authentic, local journey.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing a range of vintages across our wine varieties. We welcome bookings outside our usual tasting times as well.
