Brycefield Estate

At the heart of Brycefield Estate lies a commitment to crafting unique wines that celebrate both tradition and innovation. Set in the stunning Hunter Valley, Brycefield Estate produces premium wines from chardonnay, semillon, and pecorino grapes—a rare variety recently introduced to Australia.

Brycefield’s vineyards span 18 acres, including an exciting addition of 3,000 pecorino vines planted in 2019. This Italian grape variety has already made a name for itself, offering a fresh perspective on local wine production. Brycefield’s range includes elegant chardonnay and semillon, cultivated and bottled to embody the distinct terroir of the Hunter Valley.

The estate’s revitalization began in 2018 under the careful guidance of owners Bruce Caldwell and Deborah Humble. With the expertise of viticulturist Liz Riley, Brycefield’s vineyards have flourished, transforming neglected grounds into a vibrant and thriving wine production site. Brycefield’s wines reflect the attentive care that goes into every vine, from sustainable practices to premium harvesting techniques.

Guests staying at Brycefield Estate are welcome to explore the vineyards, indulge in private tastings, and experience the vineyard’s scenic views over the Brokenback Ranges. It’s an ideal destination for wine lovers looking to discover unique varietals and enjoy the serene beauty of the Hunter Valley.
