Accessibility
- Please be aware that the event is not held on a purpose-built site and may pose some challenges for the very young, the elderly and those with mobility issues.
- Every effort will be made to make the site as accessible as possible however visitors should note there are uneven surfaces through many areas.
- Disabled amenities will be available.
- Limited car parking for accredited state disabled permit pass holders ONLY.
- Event-specific disabled car passes are not required.
- Disabled patrons DO NOT receive a discount on general admission.
- Companion Card holders receive their ticket free.
Car Parking
- There is car parking available onsite via Wilderness Road only. Please notify the attendant if you are a NSW Mobility Parking Scheme Permit holder.
- All persons entering the event car parks must be in possession of, or immediately acquire, valid tickets to the event.
Entry, Tickets & Wristbands
- On arrival, visitors will show their pre-purchased ticket or buy an entry ticket at the gate (entrance via Wilderness Road only) and receive a Taste of Lovedale card with 5 included wine tastings (5x30ml wine) or beer tastings and a Taste of Lovedale souvenir event wine glass.
- All 5 of included tastings (30ml) may be exchanged for a single glass of wine (150ml) once only, at any winery stall in replacement of separate tastings.
- Different colour wristbands will be issued to adults & children upon entry to the event.
- These wristbands denote ticketholders but are notredeemable for tastings etc. The ticketholders will be required to show their entry ticket showing the Tastings 1-5 for adults and Fairy floss (FF) & Face Painting (FP) for children. Slides, Rides & petting zoo are unlimited for children.
- No wristband = no service.
Children
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Alcohol – Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- No alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the event site.
- Alcohol will be available to ticket holders.
- Proof of age ID (18+) must be provided to purchase alcohol.
- Strict RSA guidelines will be in place and no alcohol will be served to persons under the age of 18 years. Persons under the age of 18 years must be always accompanied by a responsible adult. All persons 2 years of age and over require a ticket to enter the event. Children under 2 years of age may enter free of charge.
- Responsible service of Alcohol measures will be in place and patrons who appear intoxicated/drunk will be asked to leave the event.
- Aggressive behaviour by a patron is a reason to refuse service under the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines.
Food & Drinks
- A wide variety of food stalls will be available throughout the event site. External food including picnics will not be permitted, except for specific medical dietary reasons.
- Food & Drinks purchased elsewhere or from home cannot be brought onto the event site with the exception of infant/toddler foods & drinks.
- FREE water refill stations will be provided.
Pets
- Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times. Any dog mess must be collated by owners & deposited in an appropriate garbage bin. Please bring your own dog litter bags & water bowl.
Chairs
- Visitors are permitted to bring chairs and/or picnic blankets with them however there will be abundant tables & chairs for visitors.
First aid
- First aid personnel will be on-site and available at the event.
Pass outs & Re-entry
- Pass-outs will be available. Ticket holders who leave the event must have an event wristband confirming that they have purchased a ticket. People who leave the event and cannot show a ticket or wristband upon returning will be denied entry.
Security
- Tickets, ID & bag checks may be conducted at the entry. People in possession of any illegal items or drugs will be refused entry to the event and Police may be called.
- Responsible service of Alcohol measures will be in place and patrons who appear intoxicated/drunk will be asked to leave the event.
- Aggressive behaviour by a patron is a reason to refuse service under the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines. Patrons who are aggressive or threatening will be asked to leave the event and Police may be called.
Smoking
- Smoking is permitted solely in the designated smoking area within the bounds of the event. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), personal vaporisers, electronic nicotine delivery systems, or other battery powered vaporisers.
Release of Liability
- The Organisers do not accept responsibility for any negligent acts or omissions by performers, spectators, visitors, exhibitors, caterers, contractors, suppliers or persons other than the Organisers, their officials.
Please Note:
- Admission for children under 2 is free.
- Concession prices are not available to Pension Card holders nor are student concessions available.
- Choose tickets carefully as there are no refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased in error.
- Taste of Lovedale is an all-weather event and as such no refund of tickets will be issued for poor weather.
