Wilderness Art Retreats offer packages that combine accommodation and art workshops in Lovedale.

Resident Artist, Jacquie Mather, is passionate about sharing her love for the wilderness and art. Her inspiration often comes from the landscapes around her and she loves to pull on her boots and create unique art experiences around the properties. You can also join her in her studio on most days too.

Jacquie conducts art workshops for visitors who are interested in drawing and painting. She will teach you how to develop sketches to produce a painting, working in acrylics or oils. You will also learn some painting fundamentals, a little art theory and have lots of fun turning your ideas into quality art works.

She will ensure you have a relaxing and fun time whilst learning more about painting, whether your chosen subject matter is landscape, still life, or abstraction. All classes will be designed to suit the participants skills and areas of interest.

The perfect retreat for groups or individuals, you can paint at your own pace or join in one of Jacquie’s classes to learn and create together.
